The app wont authenticate. When I tap the open myAudi link from the app then it says the url is for the wrong market segment.

This app is the Achilles heel of Audi automobiles. It was a lousy app to begin with and various updates have proven it more so. Theres no CarPlay, as promised for 2016 models. In 2015 Audi announced that their 2016 models feature CarPlay, at least as option. I have a 2016 S6, no car play (even as an option ), and an app that is more a gimmick than a tool.

I would only add that it needs to be faster and control more vehicle settings...i.e lower windows or adjust sunroof before I get in my hot car or climate control. I have a 2017 A4...lets do this Audi, DKW, Horch und Wanderer!

I find it ridiculous that my 2016 S3 cannot even be remotely unlocked since it has its own data plan when Chevy and every other cheap car company do it on models that cost half as much. Get on it Audi!

Wont even open since update!

Appears it is now non-functional after latest update. Stupid. Ill be in the market for a new car in 2 years. Maybe Ill get a ford, Hyundai or ANY OTHER CAR that has got up to date technology features. You should be ashamed Audi.

Vehicle finder and other minor features works, however the main desired features like lock/unlock, AC on/off do not exist, looks like those features do not exist anymore for my 2016 A6.

Concept is good but UI is buggy and features dont work

Once you setup and understand how everything works, it is pretty nice. Has some cool features like find where you parked your car.

Everything works but sometimes things dont work right. App will sometime say car is unlocked or lights are on when they arent. Would really like option to only use location while using app so I dont kill battery.

Current, I use Apple Music to stream tracks I have on "My Music" list. For some reason, the app says that the import is complete but there are no tracks available to play. Please fix this as its the most critical of the features one would use this app for.

When it works, it works great. Unfortunately, most of the time it loses the link to the account and directs me to the web page portal to reset my MyAudi account. This is one seriously buggy app that Ive taken off my phone for its poor reliability. Not worth it.

Warning to potential 2017 Q3 buyers: the MMI system and this accompanying app are so frustratingly complex that I would happily trade my new car in for any vehicle half the cost that has Apple CarPlay. Shame on Audi for touting this system as being so advanced. I now find myself navigating with my phone on my lap because its better than the Audi navigation system. The icing on the cake is the fact that although I can pipe my phones music through the car speakers, the system blocks my phones navigation prompts - so I have to listen through my phones speakers.

Audi needs to fix this app ASAP! I traded in a BMW with the flawless iDrive system. BMW app always sent data/navigation addresses to my car perfectly. This app connects maybe 1/2 of the time. The other half either the server is "down" or it will search and search and youll be stuck with the spinning wheel of death in your cars screen. Connecting and logging in is also unnecessarily complicated. You have to have my Audi account, Audi connect account and are often prompted to enter usernames/email addresses and passwords. Good luck keying in long email addresses and case sensitive passwords when you want to just get in your car and go. Youre also told that you can enter addresses on Google maps and then have it sent to the car. I have yet to have a single address successfully sent to my car. Audi, make this more user friendly and reliable!! This is disgraceful.

Whoever wrote this app shouldnt be allowed near a computer. Lets sum up: It doesnt work!

App works great but there is a bug that causes the app to run in the background and drain your battery. If you use the app, make sure you close it out otherwise your battery will be drained within a few hours. To confirm this, I went to my battery settings and it showed the app was using more than 50% of my battery everyday....and I wasnt even using it!

When I can actually login, most of the features dont even respond. Waste of money. I wont be renewing after this month. I still have never gotten some of the features to work ever, such as sending calendar incite locations to the MMI, or you know, the useful stuff.

Good start however, the picture destination only works when your connected to wifi.

The app says you can lock and unlock your car, but offers no way to do it. The Watch app only displays a message asking you to log into the app on your phone, but refuses to work no matter what you do to try to fix it.

The demo mode looks great, and if I could log in, Im sure it would be quite good. Quick suggestion - before releasing software straight to production, run it through dev and QA testing first. And maybe try logging in and see if that works. Update: 1) You can only log in to the app if you are not connected to a wifi network. Mobile data only. Why? 2) Parking location is always wrong. Im literally sat in my S3 right now, and the app thinks its 7 miles away. Where I was yesterday 12 hours ago. Talking of which - why offer the ability to navigate to my car in the app? If I try, it tries sending the destination of my car to my car. If my car is 7 miles away, how will it navigate to itself? Not that sending destinations works anyway (see 3). 3) Sending destinations doesnt work. Just tried. 4) If youre going to say that not all features are available to all models, why not just say which cars do support them? I mean - theres only 2 - the 2017 A4 and 2017 Q7. Thats it. It appears I only have Connect for Google Earth. Nothing more.
