MMI connect App Reviews

Some interesting new features, but took away the very most important one I used all the time, and for which I was willing to pay: sending destinations straight from my iPad to MMI. Not even my very savvy salesman could figure this out. All my colleagues were thoroughly jazzed with this. Who takes functionality away in an upgrade? Please bring back this essential component.

This app doesnt automatically saves the parking information when we leave the vehicle. It was working good in previous version, but not in this. My car has all new technological features and supports this app but nothing works. Please fix the bugs.

Love being able to send destinations from my phone to the car. But this version wont run with latest iOS. Crashes instantly. L

Will load all your contacts only if you set up iCloud contacts as default. Save parking location is a total crap shoot as it never seems to work automatically and must be coerced.

If all you want to do is enter NAV destinations this app is for you. Otherwise buy a BMW or Mercedes. Audi is way behind both Mercedes MBRACE and BMWs remote service. They include a full suite of vehicle remote control features for locking/unlocking the doors, starting the car, turning on heat/AC, flashing the lights, beeping the horn, along with many other useful controls and vehicle information. Dont be fooled by the app screen shots there are no remote vehicle controls available in the U.S. market.

Used to work well. New version crashes constantly at opening. Hey Audi! Fix it!!!

This app has some neat features for Audi owners. The animations and flicking to send destinations to the car are slick. Google maps within the app can find destinations well, but it doesnt feel very well integrated with iOS. The addition of a Share extension sheet in Apple Maps would be great. Then if I ask Siri for directions, I can share it to my car with the share sheet. No need to launch extra apps and navigate to the destinations pane. That would make this a five star app!

App crashes every time I try to open it. It opens, then crashes within five seconds, rendering the app useless. The redesign is prettier, but it doesn’t work.

Just heard about this app, so I couldnt wait to check it out. But I keep trying to prepare my music, and app keeps crashing. Would like to know what happens once its done, if I should keep the app or not, but since it wont finish, debating on just deleting the app all together and never knowing what the finished product will be :(

Contacted Audi on several occasions ( they are aware of problems )with app not being compatible with the iPhone 6s and havent done anything to fix in several months time...

Crashed immediately on my iPhone 6s Plus. Please fix this.

Thanks for bringing back calendar events and contact addresses!! App works on iPhone 5c havent notice battery drain, if I do, Ill lower my rating.

Tried and tried again, all I get is server error cannot connect

We were given a dog and pony show at the dealership about the virtues of the Audi Connect services. "Google Search" and "connects to your iPhone" were tossed around. Im rarely one to fall prey to lofty tech sales pitches but the sales person managed to bluff me out. Audi, this "app" is embarrassing. Youre charging customers premium prices - deliver on your promise. Hint: hire a few Apple employees and catch up before Cupertino rolls out a car and eats your lunch. Now, off of my soap box and onto my current issues: - None of the parking location services work - My wifes app instance wont let her log in - Media Center function is confusing and about four years behind the times Very disappointed!

Every Time when I try to log in it says - problem while loading your user data please try again later. Same credentials work fine on web portal so clearly something is wrong with this app! Please fix it.

Bought an Audi last week. Just like other reviewers, "problem loading your user data". Its been days! I cant even tell you what its supposed to do since Ive never logged on.

After getting A6 I wanted a more convenient way to enter destinations than using the MMIs one letter at a time methodology. At first I thought this app was the answer but even though it showed that the destination was sent to my car when I tried to find it on the MMI It wasnt there. Things got worse the next day. I found that my phone was no longer paired to the MMI. Every time I try to pair it I got the message that it was unsuccessful even though both the MMI and the iPhone 6 said that they were using the same PIN number and Bluetooth was working. I then reset the MMI back to the factory settings with the same result. When I deleted the app the pairing went smoothly. The app was the problem,please fix this app!

You would think that after paying such a premium for a car, that some of the bells & whistles" promised would be synced. Just got an A7, and after a CLS the salesman swore up&down that this would be the best upgrade and not to even look at the bmw 6 series grand coupe (my other option). How is it possible with todays technology that there isnt even an app with the car? In the Mercedes the phone screen is literally displayed on the display and here I cant even open an app. You would think with the prices Audi is charging there would be an army of technicians building groundbreaking software, yet I cant even login and "they are working on a solution"...seems like for months according to other reviews.
